Description:
The seminar speaker will be Dr. Allen Mendler, who will discuss with the Fellows key topics in student discipline. His session is entitled what his famous book is entitled, "Discipline With Dignity." Dr. Mendler of Discipline & Associates, LLC, has a vast amount of experience to bring to this session, where he will work with the Fellows on the areas of classroom and school wide behavior management, working with professional and paraprofessional staff members on behavior management, and creating a school wide environment for student success. Dr. Mendler has conducted many workshops and seminars for professionals and parents, and is highly acclaimed as a motivational speaker and trainer for numerous educational organizations. He is the author or co-author of 15 books, including Power Struggles: Successful Techniques for Educators, Motivating Students Who Don't Care, Connecting with Students, Discipline with Dignity for Challenging Youth and the What do I do When? series.
